The evenings are drawing in. For most of us that brings a sadness that the summer is over. For us at Newcastle West Film Club however it means something different. It means it is much easier for us to screen films as otherwise we have to spend a long time trying to black out the room. This is one of the main reasons we don’t start screening until October and we finish in April, bar one film for Bealtaine in May, and that tests our patience enough to reaffirm why we don’t screen into the summer!

So let’s see what these darker evenings are bringing us for Season 15. By the way as always we screen in Desmond Complex with films starting at 8pm and entry cost is €7. Attendance is for over 18s only. For further information you can phone 087 6877970.
